What this site is for
InsomniCapital publishes forex and gold trading education, free calculation tools and information about its algorithm-generated trading services. The education library explains trading mechanics, position sizing, execution costs and market-session conventions.
The tools help you examine your own assumptions. They do not choose a risk level, recommend a trade, place an order or verify whether a broker will accept it.
How our guides are prepared
- Start with a specific question. Explain a practical task or trading mechanic, with the assumptions needed to understand it.
- Use identifiable sources. Link to relevant broker, exchange, regulator or platform documentation. A citation does not imply endorsement or an affiliate relationship with that source.
- Show the workings. Include formulas, illustrative inputs and calculations readers can check independently.
- State the limitations. Separate reference schedules from broker dealing hours, hypothetical prices from live quotes, and arithmetic checks from evidence of trading performance.
- Review changes honestly. Check the underlying material when revising a guide. A displayed update date should reflect a substantive review or correction, not an automatic freshness change.
Authorship and review
Guides and tools are published under the InsomniCapital organisation byline. We do not claim independent expert review, professional qualifications or a verified live trading record for this education library.
Automated tests check calculation examples, input validation, position-size rounding and timezone behaviour. Browser checks examine usability, accessibility and layout. These checks cannot establish whether a trading strategy is profitable or suitable for a particular person.
What our tools assume
Calculator prices, conversion rates, contract specifications and broker limits are manual inputs. Default values are hypothetical examples. Currency pair and display-currency preferences may be remembered in your browser, but account amounts and trade prices are not saved or sent to us by the calculators.
The session clock uses named time zones and reference activity windows. It does not check broker holidays, execution availability or the suitability of a trading time. More detail appears beside each tool and in its related guide.

Educational examples are not forecasts. A historical simulation is not a live member track record. Where research is published, its data source, method, time period and limitations should be visible so readers can assess the result.
