Editorial Review, Corrections & Source Standards

How InsomniCapital checks educational claims, records corrections and distinguishes source and calculation checks from independent expert review.

Independent subject-matter review: not yet commissioned

Make each check traceable.

Our guides are published under the InsomniCapital organisation byline. Source references, labelled assumptions and reproducible examples support the explanations. Independent professional review has not been completed. An automated check or a working calculator is not a professional endorsement.

Each course lesson has a record in the review register. The register distinguishes technical checks from a future review of teaching and trading accuracy. A reviewer will need to inspect the content and provide a dated decision before that status can change.

The review sequence

  1. Verify the claim: match definitions and factual statements to a primary source, including jurisdiction, product and publication date.
  2. Reproduce the example: independently calculate units, quote direction, rounding and costs. Include at least one invalid or adverse case.
  3. Check the learning task: ensure the prompt supplies enough information and the explanation addresses plausible mistakes.
  4. Review the limits: distinguish hypothetical illustrations, historical observations and current reference data. Never imply a verified return from an example.
  5. Check accessibility: inspect narrow layouts, keyboard operation, enlarged text and chart alternatives.
  6. Commission subject-matter review: retain the reviewer's scope, relevant experience, conflicts, findings and approval date privately. Publish personal details only with permission.

The technical and editorial workflow does not establish whether trading is suitable for an individual or whether any strategy will be profitable.

Report a correction

Submit a correction for moderation with the page, exact claim and supporting source or calculation. Keep your receipt to check its status or remove it. A report is not an admission of an error: the claim is checked before a conclusion is recorded.

A material correction updates the affected prose, chart, calculation and download together. Its dated note explains what changed and whether the conclusion changed. Research articles keep their own version notes. Cosmetic edits do not create a new fact-check date.

Private submissions expire after 90 days and are deleted on the next queue access or maintenance run. Edited published questions and answers remain until withdrawn. We do not promise a response deadline.

Commercial relationships

InsomniCapital has an Axi affiliate relationship and may receive compensation for qualifying referrals. Learning does not require a broker account or funding. Sources are cited for evidence, not presented as endorsements, and commercial links do not determine a correct assessment answer.

Course review register

These records preserve stable lesson identifiers. Independent review remains pending for every lesson; no reviewer credentials or approval dates are invented.
